“Peras” four plaster elements cm28x60x30 cm28x40x30 cm28x60x30 cm28x42x3 2002
The Greek word peras is usually translated as “limited” or “bound”. To apeiron denotes that which has no peras, the unlimited or unbound: the infinite. So PERAS is the wall but it has the same face on both sides, mirroring itself.
This create ambiguity if we want to define or separate a space because there will not be an exact inside or outside. We would walk from one room to another being paradoxically, always in the same space.
The wall carries so many meanings that it has become thick and may grow thicker in time.
