The confrontation with the gothic architecture gave me the opportunity to make a work that was not meant to be only seen but to be sense and experienced. It was moved from the will of reaching the window and having the possibility to have a contact with the outside world, breaking the distinguish closing functions of church as a temple. At the same time is approaching the divine and experience the space from an unusual point of view. But all costs a bit of effort because of the flexible stairs and absence of a ”armlauning”; from here the title.
